Looperlative forum restored to www.looperlativeaudio.com

I have upgraded phpBB to the most recent version and restored the Looperlative forum at the new website www.looperlativeaudio.com.

There is still more work to be done to the website.  Not all files from the old site are available at the new site.  Links in posts on the forum still point at the old site.

This is a difficult process, but I hope to have everything back in working order soon.

LP1 progress

I'm making progress on the LP1 software. My goal is to make it more efficient to allow 8 simultaneous tracks with all of the available features. To help make the code more efficient of had made the following decisions:

- The scramble feature is going to be disabled for the moment. I want to reimplement this feature in a more code efficient manner.
- MIDI synchronized tracks can't be speed altered or reversed. Reversing and altering speed of MIDI synchronized tracks was never guaranteed to work. By disallowing the combination of MIDI sync with these other features, the code is much more efficient.

Frustrating weekend of struggling with the web site

For those of you trying to connect to looperlative.com, I'm very sorry but hackers attacked the site and now Google has marked the site as potentially harmful. I've taken down the entire site. I've registered a new domain and am rebuilding the site in a new location. Just as soon as I have the new site up and running, I'll announce the new domain and do my best to get everything redirected to the new site.

I'll restore the looperlative.com domain just as soon as Google will recognize that it is fixed.

In product news, the LP2 boards arrived on schedule. Assembly should take about 2 weeks. The LP2s will ship as quickly as I can test and package them.

I have 1 LP1 in stock. Please contact me via email if you are interested in it.

I'm working on LP1 software all day today. I'm hoping to have a new release of the software available by the end of the day. Although I can't promise that because I'm debugging my latest changes and I don't know exactly how long it will take.

Thank you for your patience.

Busy day of Looperlative work

First batch of LP2s were handed to UPS today going to the people that were notified.

Assembled a new LP1 that is now listed as in inventory on the web site. I have a few people asking about LP1s. First one to place their order will get the one assembled today.

I also spent time working on the fixes to version 1.39 of the software. The next release will be about optimizing the software to make it run better.

LP2 status

If you were not contacted about the first LP2s then here is where we are. The first 10 found the manufacturing issues which turned out to be relatively minor. Now I've gone into production on 50 more. This is enough to satisfy all outstanding orders and deliver to some new orders. It will be next week when I receive the new printed circuit boards. I will hand carry them to the assembly house. About 2 weeks later, I will have them back ready to put into the housings. They will then be tested and shipped as fast as I can. Bob Amstadt
